The Vulture is the name of several fictional supervillains appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Stan Lee and are enemies of Spider-Man. The most famous incarnation of the character is Adrian Toomes, an inventor that made a costume that allowed him to fly, letting him commit crimes. He is one of the founding members of the supervillain group, the Sinister Six. Other characters who have assumed the role of the Vulture are Isidoro Scarlotti, an Italian scientist and an enemy of the original Human Torch and Toro. Blackie Drago, a former cellmate of Toomes, and Clifton Shallot and Jimmy Natale, who are human/bird hybrids of independent origins. Toomes is later revealed to be the grandfather of the superhero Starling.

Since his conception, the character has been adapted from into various other forms of Spider-Man media, including television series and video games. American actor Michael Keaton played Adrian Toomes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017).[1] and the Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU) movie Morbius (2022).
