Wish is a 2023 computer-animated fantasy comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios for Walt Disney Studios. The movie is directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn.
It stars Ariana DeBose, Chris Pine, Alan Tudyk, Angelique Cabral, Victor Garber, Natasha Rothwell, Jennifer Kumiyama, Harvey Guillén, Evan Peters, Ramy Youssef and Jon Rudnitsky.
The story takes place in Spain. It was about a girl named Asha and her pet goat Valentino who meet a star named Star who falls from the sky after the former makes a wish. The villain of the story is a king named Magnifico who also happens to be a sorcerer.
The movie was released in the United States on November 22, 2023. It had mixed reviews from critics and grossed over $225 million.
Wish commemorates Disney's 100th anniversary.
Wish was the final Disney animated movie released on home video by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment before Disney switched it's home video business to Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
