Hello, can u unblock me? Will Dhwani221 (talk) 15:46, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Dhwani221: This isn't the correct forum. Go to c:User talk:Dhwani221 and request unblock there. —Matrix(!) ping onewhen replying {u - t? - uselessc} 15:50, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You are not blocked here, and even if you were: I won't be able to unblock you here. I have however blocked you on Wikimedia Commons, so file an unblock request there. Regards, Aafi (talk) 16:28, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I can't chat with you over there. I can txt here only. As said earlier, was unaware of the copyright issue. Dhwani221 (talk) 05:26, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Each of the Wikimedia projects are independent of each other. A random request here doesn't help. Nonetheless, "no one here is free to chat". This isn't a chatting platform. You are blocked on Wikimedia Commons so better submit an appropriate unblock request there on your own talk page. Regards, Aafi (talk) 05:31, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

FYI. WP:F9 is used for files that violate copyright, and WP:G12 is for text copyright violations. -- Whpq (talk) 18:29, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Whpq, thanks for the note. This is my first F9 report here. I didn't notice of selecting the other tag. Thanks for deleting it, anyways. ─ Aafī on Mobile (talk) 19:01, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
To be honest, I'm not sure why files are their own thing. It might be because files could be converted to non-free use whereas text usually cannot. -- Whpq (talk) 19:10, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Community Wishlist: What do you make of these ideas?

[edit]

Hello, the Community Wishlist has gathered a collection of wishes and suggestions over time, highlighting the need for better support and guidance for newcomers as they create articles, while also aiming to reduce frustration and reverts. These ideas have been grouped under the Article Creation Guidance Focus Area.

Improving newcomer workflows may be of interest to you hence you are invited to help us explore these wishes, join the discussion on the focus area’s collective talk page, and cast your vote if you think the focus area will be something useful to prioritise.
