[edit]The Getaway (1972 film)
[edit]Hello:
The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article The Getaway has been completed.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
The article was in excellent shape and really did not need much done to it.

[edit]Hi,
You reverted edits I made.
What source are you referring to?

[edit] Your recent editing history at The Hunt (2020 film) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
You are stonewalling, removing sourced information, ignoring the fact that several editors agreed with my edit, by improving it rather than reverting. You seem to have an unhealthy WP:OWN issue on this article, and are hereby warned yourself. Debresser (talk) 13:02, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
- I propose to take this to Wikipedia:DRN. What do you say? Debresser (talk) 13:06, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
- I've struck your template warning as it's asinine and illustrates your lack of knowledge of this site's policies. In any case, I've given you my permission to initiate a dispute resolution discussion in your talk. You've gone incognito (talk ⋅ contribs) 13:52, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
In continuation of what we both wrote at WP:DRN. From what you write it seems that you disagree with calling the film a "horror thriller". Well, so do I. My edit says "variously described as a horror or thriller". From what you write, I don't see that you would disagree with this. Please explain. Debresser (talk) 14:25, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
- I already told you a million times that only the primary genre should be included in the opening sentence of a film article; writing "variously described as a horror or thriller" is disorienting and not exactly informative. The reason it's classified as a "thriller" is because IT'S BEEN PRIMARILY CLASSIFIED BY SOURCES IN SUBGENRES OF THRILLER. Do I need to repeat myself all over again, or should my reply be written in simple English? Quite frankly, I'm appalled by your behaviour to this article, and I don't wish to collaborate with you anytime soon. Besides, I've already filed an ANI report against you, so I just let the admin sort this one out. You've gone incognito (talk ⋅ contribs) 14:50, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
- Admins won't sort out the content issue.
- How is describing the film as a thriller more informative than presenting the facts as they are. If something is sometimes described as X and sometimes as Y, then what we always do on Wikipedia, and what we should do, is to say precisely that. That is called being informative. Not mentioning one of them, is the opposite of informative.
- We have a lot of sources that say "horror", enough to substantiate the claim that that is no less primary than thriller.
- You are very WP:OWN about this, to the detriment of this project. I think you should take a step back, and let the sources speak for themselves. Debresser (talk) 15:01, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

The file File:Taken 3 OST.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-free album cover being used in a decorative manner in Taken 3#Music. Non-free album cover art is generally allowed to be used for primary identification purposes in stand-alone articles about albums, but its use in other articles is generally only allowed when the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary as explained in WP:NFC#cite_note-3 and the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8 is evident. There is no such commentary for this particular album cover anywhere in the article, and the use of soundtrack album cover art in articles about films or TV programs is generally not allowed for this reason as explained in WP:FILMSCORE and MOS:TVPRODUCTION.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:29, 4 September 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for On the Job (2013 film), introduced (in 2017): "This article is about On the Job, a Philippine crime thriller movie with a couple of chases, gunshots here and there, a serving of sex, and a simple yet intriguing premise: two prison inmates find renewed value and sense of purpose as assassins hired by powerful political forces—until one botched assignment turns their world upside down. Fun stuff!"! - What I read about your career here is no fun, that's sad. Thank you for what you did in happier days! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:28, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
