毛頂蛾科(Eriocraniidae)是鱗翅目下的一個科,有6個現存屬。[2][3] 這種蛾在白天飛行,常見於溫帶的夏季,它們由喙可以協助吸水,幼蟲是山毛櫸目的潛葉蟲(尤其是樺木屬和櫟屬),在楊柳目和薔薇目的樹上則少見。[4]
