Chroniosuchidae — родина напівводних рептіліоморфних амфібій, знайдених у відкладеннях верхньої пермського та верхнього тріасового періодів, переважно в Росії. Загалом вони були досить великими тваринами з довгими щелепами, схожими на ті, що є у сучасних крокодилів, і, ймовірно, вели подібний спосіб життя, як річкові рибоїдні та хижаки, які сидять у засідці. Як і всі хроніозухії, вони мали на спині обширний остеодермальний панцир, можливо, як захист від наземних хижаків, таких як пермські терапсиди та тріасові рауісукії.
